'Freddie' Cunningham
How Freddie has made a full recovery
Freddie belongs to Liz. He is a 20 year old jumping pony who was gifted to Liz two years ago for her 5 year old son to learn to ride on.
In Spring 2016, Freddie developed a very painful episode of laminitis. The vet took a blood sample and subsequently diagnosed him with PPID. Following ongoing medical treatment for the PPID, weight management and many months of TLC by his farrier, Liz is delighted that Freddie has now made a good recovery.
Liz says “It was heart-breaking to see him with the laminitis, and we are so pleased that he has made a full recovery. He is now a fantastic lead rein pony and we have loads of fun with him each weekend!”
