How to use the Care About Cushing's website

To create a diary entry for your horse:

1. Sign in
2. Click on “My Yard”
3. Click on your horse in “My Yard”
4. Click on “Add new entry”
5. In the “observation date” you should enter the date that your horse’s blood sample was taken or the date you first observed the clinical sign/administered the medication dose/ measured the body weight or body fat score that you would like to make a diary entry for
6. Enter the relevant diary entry information
7. You can upload a photograph with or without any accompanying information and this can be a useful way to track visual changes in your horse’s condition
8. Click “Save”

Unfortunately, we are not able to change any details relating to your account on your behalf. To change or update any of your details, please log into your account and make any updates as needed.

To delete or edit a diary entry for your horse:

1. Sign in to your account
2. Click on “My Yard”
3. Click on your horse in “My Yard”
4. Hover over the relevant diary entry in the Timeline view in “My Yard”
5. Click on “Show details”
6. Click on “Edit”
7. Alter the relevant information or click “delete” to delete the diary entry
8. Click  “Save”

The alert button indicates that you have received an email from Care About Cushing’s, either containing a free* voucher code for a monitoring test or other useful information.

Please note that you cannot view further information about the email by clicking on the alert and instead you must check your email for further information.

You can view your previous diary entries in three ways:

Timeline view

This will show you all of the entries you have made in chronological order. The icons next to each date indicate the type of diary entry that has been made:

Graph View

This will show you any weight, body fat score, or ACTH test result entries plotted on a graph so that you can visually assess your horse’s progress. On the bottom axis the dates that the medication dose has changed are shown by a syringe icon – if you hover over this icon you can view the medication dose on that date.

Below the chart you can select the time period over which you would like to view your diary entries.

List view

This will show you a chronological list of each type of your diary entries. For example you can view a list of all of the ACTH test results that your horse has had.

You can create a profile for up to 10 horses on your account. To create a profile you will need to:

1. Sign in to your account
2. Click on “My Yard”
3. Scroll down to the available horses in My Yard and then scroll across until your see “+ Add horse”
4. You will then be prompted to enter the required information about your horse
5. Click “save” to finish creating the profile

To delete your horse’s profile:

1. Sign in
2. Click on “My Yard”
3. Click on your horse in “My Yard”
4. After clicking on your horse, a + sign will appear in the bottom right-hand corner of your horse’s icon
5. Click on the + sign
6. Click on “Edit”
7. Click on “Delete horse” (found at the bottom)
